Just subscribed to an IPTV plan and don't know where to start? Here's the universal method that works on 95% of devices in under 10 minutes.
What you need
- Your IPTV credentials (m3u URL OR Xtream Codes portal: host + user + password)
- A stable internet connection (10 Mbps min for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K)
- A compatible app installed on your device
Pick the right app
- Samsung/LG Smart TV: SS-IPTV or Smart IPTV
- Fire TV Stick / Android TV: IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate
- iPhone / iPad: GSE Smart IPTV or IPTV Smarters
- MAG / Formuler: built-in app (Stalker Portal / MYTVOnline)
- Windows/Mac PC: VLC or IPTV Smarters Desktop
Method 1 — Using an m3u URL
- Open your app
- Select "Add playlist"
- Choose "Remote URL" and paste your m3u link
- Give it a name (e.g. SwissBoxIPTV) and save
- Channels load in 30 seconds to 2 minutes
Method 2 — Using Xtream Codes
- Select "Login with Xtream Codes API"
- Enter the host (server URL), username and password
- Confirm — channels, movies and series appear automatically
Optimise quality
- Prefer Ethernet for 4K
- Enable video cache (buffer) in settings
- If picture stutters, drop to 1080p
- Restart your box/TV once a week
